Sharpie® Card Reveal – The Pen You’ll Always Carry

At first glance? Just an ordinary Sharpie.

But look closer… and you’ll discover a powerful secret: a card reveal cleverly hidden within the Sharpie branding itself.

With a simple move—like a paddle change or subtle rotation—the reveal appears to visually transform right before their eyes. Bold, surprising, and made for walk-around magic, close-up gigs, and casual bar sets.

This Sharpie is designed to reveal one specific force card, so you’ll need to know how to force a card. But once you do, it becomes a true worker, a secret weapon you’ll always keep on you.

Available in three different reveals. Grab your favourite or if your a working pro grab all three!

Acknowledgement of Origins
The use of a writing instrument as a medium for revelation has a long and established history in conjuring. An early documented instance appears in Hugard’s Magic Monthly, Vol. 8, No. 11 (April 1951), where Sid Lorraine and Milbourne Christopher published In the Mind, featuring a novelty pencil printed with the name of a chosen card. Since then, numerous creators have expanded and refined the idea. Jay Sankey popularised Sharpie-based routines in which the marker itself became central to the effect. Ellusionist later released the Trick Sharpie, a commercial novelty that incorporated a card revelation into the barrel design. John Horn’s Smudged (Alakazam Magic) offered a memorable twist, with apparently smudged writing transforming into the name of the selection. Richard Sanders’ Remarkable advanced the Sharpie revelation plot further, with a streamlined and highly practical handling.

Sharpie Card Reveal is offered in recognition of this lineage, presenting a contemporary approach to the Sharpie revelation while acknowledging and respecting the contributions of the innovators who came before.
