The Effect

The magician displays a card covered with different emojis before turning it over to show its solid green back.

The card is torn into individual emoji squares and everything is handed to the spectator.

From this point on, the magician never touches the pieces.

The spectator shakes the pieces between their hands like dice and tosses them onto the table. Any pieces that land green-side up are eliminated.

The remaining emojis are gathered up, shaken and tossed again.

And again…

Until, completely fairly, just one emoji remains.

The magician explains:

“I knew that even though every toss would feel completely random… you were always going to end up with one particular emoji.”

A prediction that has been sitting in plain sight — or safely tucked away in their pocket — is revealed.
