The card clip you carry to protect your precious pasteboards is now a utility device for vanishes, transformations, and even teleportations. Your everyday carry just got a whole lot more magical. A classic revamped as only Nicholas Lawrence could, this is The Vanishing Card Case.

Here’s what happens:

You take a deck of cards out of your pocket and show that it is encased in a sturdy clip to keep them protected from the rigors of everyday life. You take the box out of the clip, offering a little challenge to your spectators. Can they name the color of the card guard? Black. They are correct. Can they name the color of the deck? Red. They are once again correct. The cards are placed back in the guard, and for the final question, did they see the cards jump? That’s when you open your hands to reveal that the cards have completely vanished and reappeared in your pocket. Then, you can go into your favorite routines.

The Vanishing Card Case is an update to a classic effect found in magic shops all over the world. Card clips are fast becoming standard accessories for anyone familiar with playing cards or gambling, so this specially gimmicked clip has been designed to be simple and elegant while hiding a crazy secret. The gimmicked box and tutorial from Craig Petty give you several full routines ready to perform. Use the gimmick to make the cards vanish, change color, and even teleport at your command. Use it as a single moment in a longer routine or as a quick, flashy vanish. No matter your style of performance The Vanishing Card Case will earn a home in your pocket.
