Scandal is Back takes that concept as its starting point and transforms it into a much more visual, impossible and attractive experience for both magicians and laypeople, creating an effect that is even more organic (in every aspect) than before.

The effect is as clean and direct as you'll see, and the magician doesn't touch the deck at any point:

Even before asking for a number, the magician shows a card with a different back than the one in the deck he's using and neatly places it among the other cards. The spectator is free to think of any number between 1 and 52. As they count to that position, the impossible happens: the only card with a different back is precisely that one—the prediction.

A clean, elegant effect with a method so perplexing it will surprise even the most experienced magicians. Remember, the spectator thinks freely and counts without the magician touching anything during the process.
